On Tuesday, I took several slow-moving trains to Jungfraujoch, the Top of Europe. The highest point is 11,782 ft. They have signs posted all over the building at the top warning you to move slowly up stairs because everyone is near passing out from the altitude.
Mostly you just marvel at the various views once up there, but you can also buy overpriced food in a cafeteria, visit the Swiss flag at the peak, throw snowballs, and walk through an ice palace, which is like Star Wars, according to one Asian traveler.
It was a great day. And later in the evening I went out to dinner with the Californians. We all ordered the local beer and Rösti, a Swiss regional dish. Really, a Rösti is just hashbrowns with various meats, cheeses or vegetables on top. So, basically, your typical hangover food in America. Delicious!

I LOVE the ice bears. The food looks good ... from most recent experience I think the altitude would make my head explode.
